Welcome to the Chicago Striving Readers Project Website!
Thirty-two CPS elementary schools (16 Year One and an additional 16 in Year Two) will participate in this comprehensive instructional support package that is designed to improve instructional practices and raise struggling readers’ academic achievement. The grant will impact 32 schools, 248 classrooms, 6,500 students and 3,400 striving readers.
