Involvement Activities as a Control School

The following highlights required activities for involvement as a CPS Striving
Readers Control School:

Modified CIERA Classroom Observations – Spring	8 teachers per school 6 during the school day.  In departmentalized schools:  1 randomly selected language arts teacher at 6th, 7th, and 8th grades, and 1 randomly selected teacher of math, social studies, and science In non-departmentalized, 2 teachers per grade, randomly selected if necessary.  One per grade teaching language arts, and one per grade teaching another core subject 2 during the extended day – the LIT and one other, randomly selected if necessary
