To improve instructional practices and raise struggling readers' academic achievement.

Goals:

• Redesign school wide reading instruction for all students in all subject areas based on scientific based reading research

• Move participating students into the Meets/Exceeds Standards Category on ISAT reading

• Reduce the reading achievement gap between participating student subgroups
